| Liberty Girls Lacrosse Club Announcements !!! |
All practices in Spring of 2010will be from 3:30PM - 5:30PM Mon-Fri unless we have a game. PLEASE CHECK EMAILS REGULARLY FOR POSSIBLE CANCELLATIONS ! Please check our website for game schedules, directions. All practices and home games will be at King's Mansion field in Bethlehem. See directions on Directions Page of this website. Ask your friends who might be interested in playing to come. You MUST wear eyegear and mouthguards to play. |
| EQUIPMENT RESOURCES The following are sites to purchase sticks and other equipment. The last site lists the approved US Lacrosse companies and models for eyegear. Lookup each of their websites for availabilty. We need "adult" eyewear, not "youth" for our level. The cage-type eyegear tends not to fog up like some goggle-types do. Sticks $40 or less are generally frustrating to learn and play with, so if you can afford a better stick I strongly suggest you do so. | Liberty Varsity 2008 Lehigh Valley Annual Tournament Champions !! Way to go !! |
| We are now officially a Liberty HS Club Sport, following all PIAA rules and regulations, all terms of the BASD new Club Sports policy |
| You must also print out and sign the BASD transcript page for athletic office package >>> |
| A few important things you must do as soon as possible, other than get into shape: You'll need: a.) Fully completed Liberty Girls Lacrosse Club registration pages all available for printing at www.libertylacrosse.org. b.) Check, money order or cash for dues of $125.00 made out to "Liberty Girls Lacrosse Club". Due to our lower numbers last year and subsequent lower revenue from the fundraiser, it had to be raised. Sorry bout that. Trust me...no one's making any money here. c.) If you had a physical for school done this year for any sport or any other reason, go to the athletic office and get a physical waiver form "recertification" form), get your parents to fill it out and sign it, and bring it to the meeting. d.) If you didn't have a physical this year, print out the PIAA form, get an appt w your doctor, get that form filled out by him/her, and bring it to the meeting. If the appt. you get is later than the meetng, I'll need that the first week of practice. I have to hand those in. You may NOT practice or play in games until I have that PIAA form. DO NOT HAND IN ANY WAIVER or PHYSICAL FORMS to the athletic office. I will do that. e.) Your uniform from last year-tops and bottoms (washed please) if it wasn't returned at last year's banquet. No uniforms returned will result in $60 added to your dues. f.) Anyone you know who might be interested in joining...any grade...make sure you tell them noone on this team knew how to play when they started. You may refer them to our website. Also forward them a copy of this email. 2.) Try to order your sticks, shoes, or anything else now so you have them for March 8th. Check out the websites on www.libertylacrosse.org. 3.) Also see my other email I forwarded to you about a lax clinic at Franklin &Marshall in Lancaster in later January. Looks like a good one. 4.) This year's 2010 schedule on the website home page tabs at www.libertylacrosse.org. 5.) Please let me know if you are not planning to return this year for any reason. |
